In our lifetime, our world has expeditiously expanded beyond the borders of our communities, cities, and places we could reach via the family's station wagon. Technology is enriching our lives at such an exhilarating pace that it feels as if we are just short of reaching age of The Jetsons. In our homes, it allows us to conserve energy and save money. Called smart technology or a green home (I assume its called green as a reference to cash :-), we can: adjust our thermostat before arriving home, turn on and off music as we walk from room to room, actuate lights and appliances at set times, automatically receive emails or texts if there is a security breach and much more... Funny, I remember when I thought the Clapper was ingenious. Interior design is more than finding that perfect rug to accentuate your new couch or remodeling the kitchen.
